This west coast inspired minimal home was anchored around sustainable practices and the thoughtful use of space. The dramatic butterfly roof was designed to cycle rainwater through to the oriental garden as well as reducing overheating in the summer months. The open concept interior provides the client with a flowing use of space and communal areas leading out to views of English bay. The natural use of wood, stone, glass and concrete reflect the Pacific Northwest heritage.
This new home achieved BC Built Green GOLD status with a planned cut system, limiting site waste and more efficient build times.
