Inspired by using a palette of concrete, wood and glass, this residence creates seamless transitions between outdoor and indoor living. Balancing areas of refuge with spaces for play, we were able to achieve a modern, minimalistic aesthetic while having a functional flow for family living.
The house is surrounded by an impressive greenbelt with openings of the north shore mountain views. Our focus was to take advantage of the location, working within it and creating a tucked in oasis.
The sharp lines and carefully placed windows allow multiple areas of intersecting light that are complemented by the natural material and glass throughout.
